Upon entering our office, our receptionist will welcome you as a member of our family. We will request that you complete our new patient form. This paperwork provides us with your health history and information that you will go over with the doctor.
Next, you will have a consultation with Dr. Michael Berlin to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, and potential treatment options. This initial visit is designed for Dr. Michael Berlin to learn more about you, your condition, and expectations to determine how Network chiropractic care can meet your goals.
After your consultation, Dr. Michael Berlin will perform a complete examination to determine what is really going on and learn more about what created your condition in the first place. We will also perform a computerized posture evaluation to show you how your physical, chemical, and/or emotional stresses affected your current health condition.
Depending on your specific condition, we may have you take X-rays as well. X-rays help us develop the most effective treatment plan for you, and alert us of any serious spinal conditions. Most people are amazed once they see their X-rays up close. In some cases, they can even identify their misalignments and degeneration themselves.
Once the information is collected and examinations are performed, Dr. Michael Berlin will give you a detailed report of all findings and answer any questions including:
- How we can help you.
- How often you need to come in.
This part of the Report happens right after your examination while still in the exam room.
Then after reviewing your health history, goals, and examining your spine and X-rays (if needed), Dr. Michael Berlin will discuss recommendations and notify you if your condition requires care with other providers. Dr. Michael Berlin will suggest the best treatment and wellness program for your needs. At this point we will know exactly what your insurance will pay and what they won't, and we will show you exactly how they will work with your care. In this part you will understand:
- What our goals are and what you can expect from care.
- How long it will take.
- What your treatment cost will be.
